Experience: Tim Ho Wan’s Sham Shui Po location is also known as the cheapest Michelin starred restaurant in the world. We love to take our visitors here! It’s an authentic experience. Be on time for lunch (around 11:45 – 12:00 p.m.) There will always be a queue, but service is fast! Pick a number at the door and fill in your wishlist in advance. Ofcourse you can order more later. There are more branches in HK, but this one is the only restaurant that is rewarded with a Michelin star. Sometimes they offer you a more private room when you are in a group, but then you will miss out the cool local vibe, so make sure they will seat you in the main dinner room. Tim Ho Wan now has restaurants in Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Kiki & Amèl’s favourites: don’t miss the famous baked buns with BBQ pork!!, steamed vegetable dumplings with shrimps, deep-fried dumplings filled with meat, spring rolls, steamed egg cake.
Address: Our favourite location: Tim Ho Wan 9-11 Fuk Wing Street, Sham Shui Po.
