Experience: The Chungking Mansion building has a reputation for being one of the most shady and dirtiest places in Hong Kong, because back in the days there were a few murders/fires/crimes here. Now, it’s the building with the most CCTV cameras in Hong Kong, so it feels like there isn’t a safer place to eat. Of course, don’t expect anything fancy, but the food quality at the Delhi Club is very good compared to (many) other Indian restaurants in TST. Pick your favourite dishes -mostly Northern Indian- and be ready to share everything with your friends. Highly recommended for adventurous people who aren’t scared of dirty toilets and small lifts.
Kiki & Amèl’s favourites: Chicken biryani, chicken tikka, vegetable samosa, cheese naan, butter chicken, mutton sagwala, prawn karai, sag paneer.
Address: 3/F, Block C, Chungking Mansion, 38-44 Nathan Road, TST.
