Experience: Nove at The Fringe is the second Contemporary Chinese restaurant run by the team behind Michelin-starred ‘Octavium’. The Fringe Club is a not-for-profit arts organisation that is housed in a Grade-I heritage building, built circa 1892. Nove took over the second floor premises this summer. Under the big red lanterns you can enjoy authentic Cantonese dim sum and Chiu Chow marinated dishes from their all-day menu. With a menu in both English and Cantonese it’s easy to choose your favourites. The staff is also willing to help you with recommendations. Nove is great for sharing and trying out Cantonese specialties that are well prepared.
Kiki & Amèl’s favourites: Dim Sum combination, ‘Eugene Pao’ Pan Fried Beef Bun, Vegan Glutinous Dumplings, Har Gow Shrimp Dumplings, Double-boiled Wonton Cabbage Chicken Bouillon, Spicy Shanghainese Fermented Rice, Braised Tofu with Morel Mushrooms, Chilled Mango Pomelo Sago Cream.
