Experience: Tucked away in a quiet street in Happy Valley, Locanda dell’Angelo made name for itself because of the fresh ingredients and authentic Italian dishes. The owner-chef, Angelo Agliano, has 30 years of experience and grew up in Sicily, hence the ocean-themed logo and many seafood dishes on the menu. The restaurant has only 28-seats, which makes the restaurant feels intimate and exclusive. The build-your-own tasting menu is a great option to explore multiple plates from the à la carte menu.
Kiki & Amèl’s favourites: Antipasti platter with burrata, cold cuts and arancini / Spaghetti carbonara / Grilled beef cheek steak. We didn’t try their famous Hokkaido Sea Urchin risotto (yet).
Address: G/F, 12 Yuen Yuen Street, Happy Valley.
